National Trainer Accreditation

The National Trainer Accreditation (NTA) is the minimum expectation that senior trainers including domestic representative trainers are expected to acquire.

The NTA accreditation requires the completion of all of the First Aid Officer modules, and in addition the candidate must complete the NTA module in Basic Human Anatomy and Physiology or possess evidence of university or professional training in Anatomy and Physiology from a recognised provider and receive Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) from the NZRL.

The candidate must also complete the NTA module of Training and Conditioningor possess evidence of university or professional training in Training and Conditioning from a recognised provider and  receive Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) from the NZRL.

Fundamentals Workshop

Module 2:
Sports First Aid

Module 3:
Sports Strapping

Module 4:
Anatomy and Physiology

Module 5:
Training and Conditioning

   

First Aid Officer and National Trainer Courses will be run in the Zones around the country. Contact your Zone Office or General Manager to register you and/or your clubs interest in one or both of these courses.
