Mackay comes to the position with an extensive rugby league background, as a representative player growing up in Queensland and later in NZ in both in administration and coaching roles. He was involved in the bringing of the NRL Cronulla Sharks team to Taupo in 2011, is Senior Squad Head Coach of the Taupo Phoenix RL club as well as their Marketing and Fundraising Co-ordinator.

Although he started his career as a lawyer, Mackay has been involved in management positions for many years, including senior roles in a variety of internet and tourism companies in NZ from 2004.

Mackay, is based in Palmerston North.

KERERUA SAVAGE - Chairperson

JON NICHOLS - Vice Chair
Jon is a creative and strategic thinking executive with strong leadership abilities. He has major strengths in strategy development and implementation, and is experienced in high-level business planning. He is currently the Managing Director for Nichols Consulting Limited, a private consulting company formed in May 2006. Prior to this role he was employed by Unison Networks Limited, the 4^th largest power distribution company in New Zealand. He progressed from Financial Accountant to Chief Financial Officer and then General Manager Commercial, over a 10 year period. Jon is currently a director for Port of Napier and is the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, and is also a director for Nichols Consulting. He has a National Diploma in Accountancy and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and the New Zealand Institute of Directors. Jon lives in Napier with his wife and two daughters and enjoys music, reading, most sports and cycling.

STUART BALFOUR
A resident of Palmerston North, Stuart is a passionate rugby league supporter and is currently the Assistant Chairman of Kia Ora Rugby League Club. He also played in the Manawatu Premier competition in the late 80's representing Manawatu in U19s and Senior men's. Stuart is a member of Vision Manawatu and EMA, and has a qualified Coach Builder with Advanced Trade certificate. Stuart has been the Managing Director for the Balfour Cleaning Company for 13 years where he looks after the business management, marketing, business planning and financial management functions of the company. Stuart is a committee member for the Manawatu Golf Club and has been for the past three years.

JOSHUA CLEAVER
Josh is a contracted Risk Consultant with Marsh Insurance Services. Prior to this role Josh was Chief Executive of the Pukeiti Rhododendron Trust and Chief Executive Officer for Speedway New Zealand, where he provided leadership to a team of staff and volunteers for the overall implementation of the organizations philosophy, mission and vision. At the age of 17 he joined the referees association in Wellington before moving onto the Manawatu and Taranaki, where he currently resides. Josh is currently studying towards a degree in Management from Massey University and a Diploma in Risk Management from the Insurance Council of New Zealand. He is the father of two, a son and daughter.
